My Chiropractic journey really started at 15 I’m forced work experience (I was in too much trouble at school) in a rocking practice with Dr Andrew Kerr in Adelaide seeing hundreds and hundreds of people’s lives changed every week – from the “miracle cases” of a...During his 26 years as an academic Phillip twice renewed the RMIT program, established new programs in Tokyo, Seoul and Kuala Lumpur, and then the CQUniversity program, first in Mackay and then opening the highly successful Brisbane campus as well as Sydney. He continues to serve the profession in Japan as President of the Tokyo College of Chiropractic and is assisting emerging programs in three countries. With well over a hundred research papers in the peer-reviewed, indexed literature he is among the top 3 most highly published chiropractors in the world. His second PhD will be completed this year and he plans to undertake a third into the development of Augmented Reality to better teach chiropractic in general and subluxation in particular. His talk for this Symposium is based on his current research into subluxation.
Dr. Brinsley Lane describes himself as a chiropractor by day and a comedian by night but the truth is he wouldn’t know how to be a chiropractor by day without an ongoing injection of humour.
He lives in Honiara the Solomon Islands and serves the people there with trips back and forth to Western Australia where his family lives.
Brin’s father was also a chiropractor.
“I got turned-on to the philosophy of chiropractic very young. I would sit in the lounge and listen to these great guys that would come around and talk chiropractic with my dad and I found myself talking the tic to school friends from age nine or ten. It made sense to me. It still does.”
His presentations are described as engaging and humorous and he tends to come at the topic of conversation from an often surprising angle.
More than ever as chiropractic is diluted over and over he feels it’s vital that we get together face to face to talk, think and giggle.
Dr. Clinton McCauley has been a practicing Chiropractor for over 21 years and in that time has owned and worked in practices in remote, rural and regional areas. He graduated from the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology in 1995.
He initially started his practicing career in Whyalla, SA and was thrown into the deep end and created a very busy practice dealing with many types of people.
He then moved to Mackay, Nth Qld and used those skills to build a large family-based practice and helped serve the community. In 2007, he relocated to Mt Barker in the Adelaide Hills and has had his main practice there for the last 10 years. He also serves the Murray Bridge region with a practice there and also has a satellite practice in Meningie, SA as well.
Clinton has served on the board of The Chiropractors Association of Australia (SA). Clinton’s passions are sharing his life and chiropractic messages to the world and to help as many other people. As such he is also a coach and mentor to many other chiropractors, helping them to live their dreams and serve their communities. He is passionate about life and strives to help and support as many people as possible to live their dreams and to have fun along the way.
Dr. McKillican currently has practices in Folsom and Rancho Murieta, California. Dr. McKillican’s passion for educating does not just stop with the patients in his office. He has been on faculty at Life Chiropractic College West for over 10 years where he teaches Chiropractic Philosophy to the next generation of Chiropractors. Additionally, Dr. McKillican has a thriving practice in the care of both large and small animals.
After graduating from the University of Delaware and the Los Angeles College of Chiropractic he went on to open his own private practice in California. He has been providing the local community, including elite and professional athletes with holistic care for more than 20 years. Some highlights over this time include caring for the Team USA athletes at the 2012 London Olympics and being recognised as California’s “Chiropractor of the Year” in 2010 from the 20,000+ chiropractors in the state.
Aside from being a chiropractor in private practice, he is a renowned international wellness speaker and educator. He is often out of the country sharing his results for health and wellness internationally. He has shared the stage with some of the top pioneers in healthcare, including most recently, Dr. Bennet Omalu – the inspiration for the hit-movie, Concussion.
When he is not speaking or in his practice, you can find him identifying different ways to spread the message of health and wellness far and wide. One of the ways he has done that is through founding the Wellness Champions, a non-profit organization comprised of wellness experts throughout the world looking to promote health and wellness in their communities.
Now living back in Melbourne Dr Matt has now recently opened Thrive Chiropractic in Elsternwick in what most people say in a saturated area despite Thrive’s ever-growing success.
